In the Verkhovna Rada, Horobets was a Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services member. In 2020, the media mentioned Horobets as one of the MPs who took advantage of the compensation program for housing costs from the state budget. It turned out that the man had three apartments, and he rented other people’s housing with public funds.

He saved 49 thousand from his monthly salary…,” Channel 24 reports. In addition, the MP purchased a VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT in 2021 for UAH 828,000.

Винаймав квартири за державні кошти

Народний депутат 9 скликання, маючи доступ до коштів державного бюджету, вигадав такий собі невеличкий стартап: винаймати квартири за державні кошти та здавати їх в оренду. У Верховній Раді Горобець був членом Комітету з питань енергетики та житлово-комунальних послуг. 2020 року у ЗМІ були згадки про Горобця як про одного з депутатів, які скористалися програмою компенсації коштів за житло із держбюджету. Виявилося, що чоловік має три власні квартири, а із державних коштів просто орендував стороннє житло.

Відкриті декларації виводять на “чисту воду”

З 10 грудня 2023 року в Україні офіційно відкрили декларації держслужбовців; тепер кожен бажаючий може ознайомитися з доходами слуг народу. Разом з цим “виплило” багато цікавих фактів про фінансове становище чиновників. Щодо депутата Горобця, то він задекларував не всі свої кошти. “На банківських рахунках у «ПриватБанку» Олександр Горобець має 56 671 грн, а от готівкою — 295 000 доларів та 190 000 грн. Певно, назбирав зі своєї зарплати 49 тисяч на місяць…”, – повідомляє 24 канал. Крім того, нардеп придбав VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT у 2021 році за 828 000 грн.
